Library
Publication library
The Library is the canonical public publication index of Standards Body. Every record states its type, version, status, and release date, links to downloadable artifacts with checksums, and is subject to recorded correction, supersession, and withdrawal. Released versions are preserved without silent edits.
All records are research and institutional-design work published under Standards Body’s project-level authority over its own publications. Nothing in this library is an adopted standard, a certification criterion, or a regulatory requirement. See Authority and Nonauthority.

An Evaluation Is Not an Audit
Public explainer · Released July 17, 2026 · Current
Evaluation, testing, and audit are different activities with different evidence. Confusing them changes what a result actually shows.
-
Certification Is Not Accreditation
Public explainer · Released July 17, 2026 · Current
Certification attests that requirements were met. Accreditation recognizes that a body is competent to assess. The words are routinely swapped, and the swap misleads.
-
Assurance Is Not a Safety Guarantee
Public explainer · Released July 17, 2026 · Current
Assurance provides bounded confidence from evidence. It never provides certainty, and passing an evaluation is not proof of safety.
Registers
Public status registers. A register records status; it does not create authority.
-
Publication register

-
Source register
Where the research basis of each record lives, the date through which its sources were reviewed, and how source corrections are handled.
-
Open-questions register
Where the project’s acknowledged open questions, evidence gaps, and research agenda are recorded in the canonical documents.
